Menuderia Guanajuato: Authentic Mexican Flavors in Phoenix

Hear me out. Location looks super sketchy BUT! Inside is well decorated AND food is delicious!!! Had about an hour wait but I did not mind! Definitely recommend!

This place has been on my list for about two years and my experience was great! The menudo was flavorful and an important thing to note was the temperature, it was perfect . Not too hot to burn your mouth and not too cold. The chips were a little chewy which means they weren't left in the fryer for long enough or they were old chips but the salsa served with them was so delicious. The server's were very polite and made sure to make our meal one to remember. I look forward to visiting again.

We were seated right away. Staff was very friendly. Menudo per my husband was delicious. I had the enmoladas de pollo the flavors were on another level. My sister had the bistec ranchero she said it was delicious. Nieces had carne asada fries also delicious. We will definitely come back again. Highly recommend.

What a find! The parking lot is full because this place is bomb! I ordered a large bowl of meundo with toasted boillo and a LG Agua pina wow delicious and refreshing. The ladies in the kitchen made the menudo with love. Perfectly seasoned and cooked. Not mushy or fatty just amazing flavor. Took me back to me to Mama's kitchen; comfort food the chips and salsa were also fresh and very good. Service with a smile. This place is worth the wait If you see a minivan with a lady selling bags of homemade fresh pumpkin and pineapple empanadas oh my word so goood best pineapple empanadas I have had in a long time. The bread was light and the filling was made with real pineapple not from a can I'll be back

The food was delicious.I'm not a big menudo fan, but I decided to give it a try and I would give it a 5 star. The tortillas are freshly made and they give you this slice of toasted bread to dip in the juice.

We recently discovered Menuderia Guanajuato, and it has quickly become one of our new favorite spots. From the moment we walked in, we could tell it was going to be a great experience. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is attentive, making sure everything runs smoothly from start to finish. It feels like the kind of place that takes pride in both their food and their service. The highlight, of course, is the menudo. It is absolutely delicious rich in flavor, perfectly seasoned, and clearly made with care. Each bite was hearty and comforting, the kind of meal that makes you want to come back again and again. For anyone who enjoys authentic Mexican food, this menudo alone is worth the visit. Another big plus was the service. The waitresses and hostess were all great at their jobs, offering friendly and attentive customer service without ever feeling rushed. Even though we expected an average wait time of about 20–30 minutes, we were pleasantly surprised when we were seated in under 10 minutes. Not long after that, our food came out quickly and piping hot, which made the experience even better. If there was one small thing to improve, it would be the drinks. I do wish they had fountain drinks available, as it would add to the overall dining experience. That said, the quality of the menudo more than makes up for it, and it’s hard to dwell on something so minor when the food is this good. Overall, Menuderia Guanajuato has left a fantastic impression on us. The combination of amazing menudo, excellent service, and quick turnaround times makes it a spot we will definitely be returning to. We’re excited to have found this place and are already looking forward to our next visit.

If you’re driving too quick you’ll certainly miss this place. Hidden between dilapidated motel and car lot adds to the difficulty in seeing the restaurant. Once there the entrance is somewhat shady also. But don’t be fooled. Go ahead and enter. Once inside the smell of home cooked goodness permeates your sensory system. And all is forgotten on what was experienced outside the walls. The menudo is 100% top notch. Highly recommend for those menudo lovers. Even my mother in law (Mexican) loved it. And she is adamant about her menudo in Mexico. Enjoy my fellow Americans.

Good place to get menudo and mexican food. They have a variety of sizes for your menudo, and the best part is their tortillas are gand made, fresh and super delicious, if you chose to have bread instead of tortillas..... they are going to serve you an amazing toasted barras (mexican bread) with butter, we tried gorditas of pork, beans, and cheese, and they also 9 out of 10. They serve alcohol for your hangover, and their menu has a little bit of everything.
